Strawberry Upside Down Cake

Ingredients
  • 2 cups crushed fresh strawberries
  • 1 6 oz package of strawberry jell-o
  • 3 cups miniature marshmallows
  • 1 18 oz package of yellow cake mix (prepare following package directions)
Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees, grease a 9 x 13 inch pan and set aside.
  2. Spread your crushed strawberries on the bottom of your pan.
  3. Sprinkle the dry jell-o powder mix on top and place the miniature marshmallows over the jell-o mix.
  4. Prepare your cake as directed by the package and pour on top of the marshmallow layer.
  5. Bake in for 40-50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.
  6. Cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes and then use a knife to loosen the edges of the cake.
  7. Turn the cake onto a serving tray.
  8. Serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
