Hi everyone! I hope you are having a great weekend! We have been having so much fun, we did our very first campout with the kids yesterday, holy cats that was so fun! We set up our family-sized tent in the backyard, grilled out, had s’mores (minus the marshmallows thanks to me assuming we had some at home in the pantry when we didn’t, oops!) and then we had fun playing Crazy Eights while using glow stick necklaces as our light source. It was the perfect baby step to us actually going camping at a campground. I think we might be ready to take all the kids before summer is over, oh how we have been dying to go camping every since Noah was born!
Today I wanted to share with you a collaborative project I have been working on that I’m super duper excited about…it’s a fun and easy tutorial for making pretty and environmentally friendly Cloth Napkins that is part of a collection of amazing craft tutorials called ‘10 Simple (and Special) Sunday Afternoon Crafts from 10 of Our Favorite Design Bloggers‘. It can be found over at Kirtsy thanks to Blogstar. This is a great collection of simple crafts that can literally be done in one afternoon, love that! My elegant cloth napkins can even be made by a beginner sewist, awesome! I was more than excited to have been asked to participate!! Me? One of 10 favorite design bloggers? Ah gah!

The backyard is a great place for a first campout! Glad you all had fun! If you lived closer I’d give you the giant leftover marshmallows we took camping last week. 🙂
