9 Months and Counting…

| Filed Under: Adventures with Kids, Milestones

Ha! As I read my blog title, I can’t help but think thank goodness that is 9 months out and not 9 months in…yeah, the end of pregnancy is never fun, is it?
Well look who turned 9 months old last week!
My little man Oliver is getting bigger and bigger…I just can’t believe it.
I feel like I say this all the time but I really can’t help it, PLEASE STOP TIME!  I just can’t handle him getting bigger, less wee little baby and more full-on kid…soon he’ll be a toddler…then ugh, then he’ll be 6…then 16…then he’ll be off to college!
I know, I know! Let’s just enjoy him as he is now, you should never waste away the present…are you ready for some super cute Ollie pics?  Me too!!!
Can I just say how Oliver is such an awesome blessing from above.  I couldn’t have asked for a sweeter more happy baby.   He continues to be such an easy-going little babe and like the baby of the family tends to do, he just goes with the flow.
Nap in the car as we run errands?
-Sure Mom! I’ll catch a nap in my crib later today…or never, whatevs.
What? We ran out the door before you could feed me breakfast?
-I’m cool, I’ll just nurse extra long when we get there!
I really want to play with the trains but Penny keeps carrying me around like a dolly!
-Oh well, maybe I’ll get a chance later today…when does she go to preschool again?
Such is the life of #4 I suppose!

Over the past month he has reached lots of fun new milestones…

Two shiny new teeth made their appearance…and we finally stopped biting mommy ahthankyouverymuch Oliver!  We also learned to crawl last month and then immediately the next day we started cruising on furniture, sigh. And wouldn’t you know that as soon as he turned 9 months old he started in for the stairs, and made it to the top, over and over and over again.  We really need to find those gates!

Thank goodness he still has the rolls.  The chubby baby rolls…so delicious!

And as you might have guessed with all those milestones I mentioned, our monthly pictures are proving to be much more difficult these days.

The blurry ones far outweigh the crisp, clean ones…fudge puddles.

And isn’t it interesting that at such a young age boys really do gravitate to cars, trains, things with wheels?  I remember that with Noah too but not so much my girls!
Thanks for stopping by today and letting me gush on my little bub!
XOXO,

My favorite is the baby hair swirl – I took so many pictures of that – and the smell, oh the smell of them when they are just bathed. Enjoy him – he is so sweet!

Thank you, Jade! A happy baby, especially that he is the fourth, really does help a lot and makes life running the other 3 around so nice!!! I’m very grateful for that!!

So cute! I love #4 babies!!! I feel like I do nothing but enjoy my 4th. I also have 4 kids, 5 and under. While Baby Girl is sweet, she is definitely different than my 3 boys and is not as laid back as they are though. She’s 1-1/2 now and I’m starting to get an itch and the pictures of your darling boy are not helping (hubby will not be happy)! haha

Yay for 4!! Are you thinking you might go for 5? I think we are good with 4…I just don’t want him to grow up anymore than he has! If we went for 5 we would need a bus with all those dang carseats…lol!
