A Trip Down the Aisle

| Filed Under: Adventures with Kids

So this past weekend my little ones were in their very first wedding.  They had some pretty tough jobs being in charge of flowers and rings 🙂

Two out of these three made it down the aisle…little Eloise had other plans.  She thought it would be more fun to walk in the other direction so her Daddy scooped her up so she didn’t delay the wedding.

It was fun to have the kids get all dressed up, we don’t do this level of dress up much around these parts.

When we arrived at the church on Saturday, hours before the ceremony was to begin, this little girl and her brother couldn’t sit still for long.  They decided to chase each other in the hot and steamy sanctuary much to our chagrin and soon enough we had two very unhappy and sweaty children on our hands.  It took us a good bit of time to reason with Penelope that no, she could not take of her dress because she was hot.  So she took to wearing the bottom petticoat around her head to cool off, stay classy San Diego.

Congratulations Kristine and Dan, thank you for letting us be a part of your wedding.  May God guide you in your new adventure and continue to bless the two of you in your marriage.
XOXO,

They look so cute! Terrific pictures, too. I loved that you used “stay classy San Diego.” Anchorman is one of my favorites…nice.
