So, yesterday I had the entire day off…wahoo!! It was so nice to have a full day and nothing to do š
What did I do with my day, you’re just dying to know, right? Well, I took the kidlets on what I like to call a Target Hop. It’s basically where I find another Target out there in the great blue yonder and make a special trip just for fun-sies. Ahhh, a brand new (to me) Target to walk around and clearance shop…pure bliss! Really, I do this with the intention of buying a few necessities so it’s not a wasted trip in case I don’t find anything fun. I just like to get out of MY Target and browse around a different one sometimes…you know, clearance items are different and every now and then I’ll find better prices on certain items (the nerve of them!)
Yesterday, I went in search of another one of these:
Yeah, boring to say the least. It’s a Timex Marathon watch and the 3rd one I’ve bought in about a three-year time span. Yup, numero tres…I’m loyal consumer, aren’t I?
Ok, so why am I telling you about this watch? Mainly cause I want to vent about buying this watch three times in three years!!! Let’s see, where to start. Ok, to back track a bit, every time I’m pregnant I take a water aerobics class. If you’ve never taken one you must!! You get a great work-out but don’t have that annoying gravity issue to bother with so pregnant bellies all around can rejoice. I always love taking the classes and keep saying how much more fun they would be if I wasn’t pregnant when I took the class cause you can get a really high-level intensity work-out, seriously, not lying here. Unfortunately, once the babe comes I am too wrapped up in feedings, etc. so I don’t get back to it until I’m preggers again, rats!
Ok, so anyways, every time I take a water aerobics class I lose this dang watch when I take it off before I get in the pool. Every.Single.Time. It’s totally annoying…so right there with Noah and Penelope’s pregnancies go two watches. Now this time, I thought to myself, I am just going to wear this sucker in the water since it’s all waterproof and such and that is what I did. AND that brings us to number three…the thing totally got water logged…UGH! What a pain.
But I keep buying this little beauty cause I love it’s slim design and black color, plus it’s digital so it’s quick to read and it has that funky indiglo light-up feature so I can check the time in the middle of the night when I’m at my most blind (can I just say I have the worst eyesight EVER!) a super handy feature when your breast-feeding a newbie baby!! Alright, so that’s my rant, really…I guess I am just not meant to own this watch…but I really want to, I love it!
In other news, while I was browsing around good ‘ol Target, I bought some more Liberty of London goods. Man, I just love their stuff, so pretty! I like the housewares best, maybe more so since the clothes are worthless to me…growing belly and all…so sad š
I really want these:
Oh, what beauties they are, aren’t they!?! I just love teapots. Unfortunately, I can’t find these anywhere…totally sold out, boo hoo! I’m on the hunt though and one day I’ll Target Hop and find them, I just know it!! What about you? Seen anything cute lately? Want to vent with me? I’d love to hear what’s up with you!

I love that stuff too! I didn’t know there were clothes though. Too bad your are so far away, I saw that teapot at my local Target!

I love the Target-hopping idea! I feel your pain about the watches, but it’s because every watch I ever buy seems to just quit on me. I don’t know if it’s because I buy cheap watches, or if I’m one of those people who apparently can’t wear analog watches because they kill them somehow! I’m afraid to buy a nice one and find out the latter is true! LOL Good luck with this one – I hope you have it forever! š

I’m just jealous you get to shop at Target! It is definitely one of my favorite place and there isn’t one with 300 miles of my house!

I guess I’m lucky! My husband found me the coffee cup earlier this week for my birthday. My Target is in Oregon…not sure that would help you much! š Good luck!

I didn’t see your cups at Target yesterday, but what I did see was little girl easter dresses made with fabric that matches exactly!
