Well, our week test driving the Chevy Traverse has come to an end … it’s a sad day here. We had a lot of fun family time and made so many great memories while on the road with our littles. We visited the arboretum, exercised our little tushies off on our favorite hiking trails, visited some fun parks, and laughed so hard we all cried at some of the silly answers my kids gave during our numerous road trip games we played.
We were really excited to test out the cargo room in the Chevy Traverse as it is so hard to find a car that isn’t a minivan that can hold all our things! As you know, we have four little ones and we need to bring LOTS of extra stuff when we go anywhere! I was pleasantly surprised to see that we fit our jogging stroller, picnic blanket, cooler, potty seat, and backpacks filled to the brim with water bottles. What a relief we didn’t have to leave anything behind!
Our Chevy Traverse came with seating for 7*. There was a bench seat in the back and two captain’s chairs in the middle row — much like our minivan — so car seat installation was a breeze, thank goodness! It was super easy to get all the kids in/out and buckled up and thanks to all the room in the cabin. No complaints from my peanut gallery meant one happy momma, aaaand one happy family during our road trips! We loved all the family time we had in our Chevy Traverse! It really does ride like a dream, nice and smooth, so every trip we took seemed to go perfectly. We passed the time playing games and singing along to our playlists! We headed to the arboretum one day and had a blast playing in all the amazing wooden structures all afternoon.
One of our all-time favorite things to do is try out different parks in our neighborhood. We went to a park each day we had the Chevy Traverse, sometimes two parks, and brought along lunch or dinner and picnicked when we were hungry. It was so much fun! And I felt very safe knowing that the Chevy Traverse has the NHTSA 5-Star Overall Vehicle Score for safety**. It made me feel really secure knowing we could travel anywhere and be safe if anything should happen. The rich and refined interior inside the Chevy Traverse was a momma’s dream…ok, and a husband’s too. My husband was wishing he could have driven this to work for the week instead of his car! We loved how the interior felt sleek and sophisticated, especially in contrast to our other cars! Who knew we had four kids in the back, about to head out on the road? 🙂
With best-in‐class maximum cargo space, it’s easy to get your kids, and everything they need, back to school in the Chevrolet Traverse.
We really did love every minute of driving around in our Chevy Traverse. With our busy day-to-day schedule it’s important for us to have a home away from home, and this car definitely fit the bill! It was roomy enough for all six of us, plus all our stuff, and the interior was really nice! Two thumbs up from this family.
