…as in the “As Is” room at Ikea. I love this room! It is where all the returned or slightly damaged items from Ikea go to be re-sold at a much reduced price. I really love this room because they have bins and bins and bins of fabric to sort through at ridiculously cheap prices. The fabric may be opened drapery that was returned or remnant cuts of fabric from their fabric selection upstairs, pillowcases, duvet covers, bed linens, you name it. It’s a great place to search out some cool looking european stylin’ fabric. Last night, my hubby and I were lucky enough to be able to go on yet another date night…I know, I am super lucky! Anyways, he made our date even better by saying we could make a run to Ikea after we went out to dinner. Hip Hip Hooray! We were able to roam the store kidlet-free and wander around without so much as a goldfish cracker in our pockets! Well, I had a point here somewhere …oh yes, I just wanted to let you see what I purchased!!! Take a peek if you will:
Aren’t they devine?! I just love, love, love these prints! I bought both of them for $3 each…I know, what a deal! And I was able to get a bunch of it too! Well, that’s all…just wanted to let you know how cool Ikea can really be and also (shaking my head in embarrassment) what floats my boat in the date department…man, once you have kidlets anything you once thought was a lame way to spend a Friday night is now considered super duper exciting! Ahhhh, parenthood, you are a crazy world to be in but I wouldn’t trade you for anything!
