My dear baby Penelope is turning ONE on the 12th…this means, Eeks, I need to get a move on with all her first birthday projects. So far, I have finished two of her gifts. The first is her tutu which I was planning on having her wear in her first birthday professional pictures that we’ll have done sometime this week. Imagine, if you will, my little Penny nakie with only a diaper and this adorable super fluffy tutu, I know, seriously cute! You can find tutu tutorials all over the internet but I found mine here.
Penelope’s 1st birthday tutu
The only other project that I have finished so far are these rockin’ bean bags that I made using all the letters of her name, totally sweet! I just loved how these turned out. They are about 6 1/2 inches tall by 8 inches wide. So they are a great size for learning her letters, playing catch or whatev! I saw the idea for these on a really neat blog called Make It and Love It. This girl has some neat ideas…I’m glad I found her blog and I plan on checking it out again soon to see what else she has up her sleeves! Hope Miss P likes what I’ve made for her so far…I’ll need to finish a few more things in the next couple of days so I’m going to have to hustle. I’ll try to keep you posted on the ongoings.

Bean bag name! The Bomb Diggity!
It was pretty hard to get her name in one picture but after several takes I finally did it. Round of applause please! I know what you’re thinking, Yes, I am that cool!
