You guys, we started the littles soccer season last week. And since I have my oldest two in soccer it means I really have to psych myself up for the season. Don’t get me wrong I love soccer. I mean, loooooove soccer. Both Clif and I played when we were younger so we do really like it. It’s just that with our crazy work schedules it means that I am the sole chauffer and get ‘er done lady to each and every practice and game. It’s me, 4 littles, a stroller, 2 practice balls, and all the other paraphernalia needed to practice and play. So basically the mom who runs around with her head cut off. The last game Noah played I think I had to drag Oliver off the field only 37 billion times…and that was cut short due to lightening. Thank you God for lightening. So you can see why I need to psych myself up. It’s a ton of work!!! Anyone else feel that way about kids sports? It’s a love/hate relationship for me. I really want them to be a part of a team, learn a sport, be active, but man it’s hard work doing all the run around by yourself! Anyways. So yeah, we started soccer. Pray for me.
Oh, and here’s another round of Bento lunches my littles brought to school last week. Think happy thoughts. Lunch 1: Ham and mustard triangle sandwiches with a froggy pick, peanut butter free puppy chow, corn, bacon jerky (this stuff is so good!), and string cheese pieces with a little doggy fork.
Lunch 2: Mini bagel with strawberry cream cheese and cinnamon and a bunny pick, sliced carrots, clementine with a cute little leaf pick, and strawberries with a mini kitty fork. Lunch 3: Mini bagel with strawberry cream cheese and an elephant pick, pretzel sticks, Annie’s bunny fruit chews, clementine with a leaf pick, and strawberries with a mini doggy fork. Lunch 4: Grapes with a panda pick, crackers, baby carrots, pumpkin shaped cheese (at the request of Penny!), and raisins. Lunch 5: Strawberries with a kitty fork, bacon jerky, and chow mien noodles. Lunch 6: Bacon jerky (I said this stuff was good!!!), string cheese pieces with a bear pick, ham and mustard sandwich with squirrel and nut picks, peanut free puppy chow, and some corn. And that’s a wrap from last week’s lunch table friends!
Thanks for stopping by today!
Love,
Maggie
