OK, I’m baaaccck! The party is over, the guests are all gone, my family has left for home (sniffle!) and the decorations are all taken down and put away…well, sort of! And now, I am finally getting to posting some pictures of that big bash we had for little Miss P. It was such a good time. We had lots of our friends, and some family too, come to help us celebrate Penelope turning the Big ONE!! All the kidlets had a chance to hit a pinata and take home some candy and toys, I do have to say that the pinata was such a great idea. It was so neat to see all the little ones try their hand at swinging at the big donkey flying in the air! I’ll definitely have to remember that for future parties, it was a for sure hit! Penny seemed to have lots of fun. She had a moment of tears right before the cake because of me! I know, her own momma causing her to cry, geesh! I admit it though, it was my fault. I was trying to put her little birthday hat on her and as I was pulling the elastic under her chin I let go and zowie I stung her with it…I really am sorry babe! She brightened up quickly though, it’s amazing what some pink frosting and your very own little cupcake will do to stop those tears! Well, my little one is one and has the pictures to prove it! I’m so sad but so happy…we made it through her first year…and those of you with kids know how that first year is full of milestones and mayhem! Long live our little Penelope, we wish you many, many more!
