Boo-tiful Stacked Pumpkin Topiary

| Filed Under: Fall, Halloween, Holiday, Tutorials

I am so super excited to be sharing some fun Halloween decor with you today! You know, Halloween is only 3 weeks away…are you ready? We just decorated the inside of our house this weekend and we took the kids to one of our favorite pumpkin patches so our front door is slowly getting decked out to be ready for all those trick-or-treaters. We are getting there!!! I was asked to be a part of Michaels #TrickYourPumpkin sweepstakes where all month long bloggers are sharing their pumpkin creations in hopes of inspiring you to create your own pumpkin decor! This fun Boo-tiful Stacked Pumpkin Topiary is my contribution to getting your wheels turning about all things pumpkin and decorating! I really loved making this topiary because it was so simple to do yet looks so stunning! Here’s what you’ll need to make your own:

Bootiful Stacked Pumpkin Topiary

3 foam pumpkins in cream color (I used the smallest but any sizes will do!)

Bling adhesive letters to spell out B-O-O

Hotknife or x-acto knife A hot knife makes cutting into the foam super easy (like butter!) but if you don’t have one you can use and x-acto knife with good results.  To make the stacked topiary all you need to do is cut a whole at the base of two of the pumpkins so that it will fit over the stem of the pumpkin it will be stacked on top of. Start by making your hole smaller and working out from there. If you make it too big you can just glue the pumpkin down with a hot glue gun, no worries! Once your pumpkins holes are cut, you can take the bling letters and adhere them to one side of each of the pumpkins. I tried to pick the flattest, least bumpy side for best adhesion. The just stack those pumpkins and enjoy your new holiday decor!  If you like, you can also sit the pumpkin next to each other. How fun would this look on the mantel of a fireplace?
