Buttons…of the Blog Variety.

So today I wanted to share that I finally took the dive and started a Flickr group.  Mmmm hmm, that’s right.  You know, for all the creations that you have made or were inspired to make from Smashed Peas and Carrots tutorials or blog posts…Woo Hoo!  Who’s excited with me?
So now if you look over at my right side bar you will see this funky little icon:
That, apparently, is the Flickr symbol….oh, the things I’m learning every day 🙂  Now you can just click on it to head over and add all the pretty photos of lovely things that you have made and share the goodness with all of us!!
Can I tell you how excited I am to see what you have been doing!!  I know many of you have sent  me emails with pictures of your little ones all dressed up in handmade goodness from my blog tutorials which I LOVE so please continue to do so!!  But I thought this Flickr group would be a nice way for everyone else to see how you have created such amazing things and to help give all of us ideas for fabric choices and other liberties that you took…what’s the fun in making if not sharing, am I right or am I right!
The other area of the internet-world that I decided to dive into a couple of weeks ago is Pinterest.  Whoa, have you used this site yet?  I’m still not sure what took me so long to jump on this band wagon but I am sure glad that I did.  I heard through the internet grapevine that you had to be invited in order to join but to tell you the truth one random night I just decided to check it out so I clicked on the ‘Request an Invite‘ button and literally within minutes I was accepted.  Hmm, weird. *makes scrunchy face*
Anyways, so the other new little button on my right side bar is this one:
Yup to the yuppers, it’s a Pinterest button.  So if you feel so inclined go ahead and click on over and come and follow me on Pinterest.  It’s seriously a ton of fun.  Yes, another time waster for sure but such a pretty place to waste your time 🙂  I love to go on there right before bed and just immerse myself in all the pretty…ahhh!
Here are some of the fun things I’ve pinned so far:

Now, I’m not getting married again any time soon but WOW do I love to look at pretty wedding photography.  Isn’t this picture gorgeous!

There are also some major pretty furniture pieces I have been dreaming about in my sleep.  A pretty patchwork chair to rest my bum, yes please!

The food on Pinterest is out-of-this-world and totally drool-worthy…check out these amazing cinnamon bun pancakes 🙂  Anyone want to make me a batch…I’m up at 7 🙂

And how could I end this post without showing you some of the amazing home decor photographs on Pinterest.  Umm, I totally want to use my dead under the staircase space for one of these.  It quite possibly would work in our house once the kids were out of the ‘let’s dump everything on the floor and make a gigantor monster mess on the floor’ stage.  Oh, to dream!
Alright, so that is all.  Have I enticed you yet?  Come on!!  Join me in my new adventures in Pinterest and Flickr…let’s have some fun together being wild on the internet, hehe!
XOXO,

I have totally avoided that cinnamon bun pancake thing because I would have a cinnamon-pancake-bum in no time. Cinnamon&sugar anything is my weak spot. The … uh, cheesecake, however you spell it, was delicious by the way! I didn’t have any honey handy because I refuse to buy it anywhere but Costco, so I drizzled maple syrup on it. We’ll pretend that was a Canadian twist on it. I figured the flavours sounded like french toast a bit… and french toast is great with syrup, right?? I loved it! Gotta try it with honey now, too!

ooh! I’ve got totally hooked on Pintrest recently too. I just posted about it a couple of days ago – great minds think alike and all that!! I’ll definitely be following you, and re-pinning that cute chair!
