As I sit here today, my little 10 month old baby is on her 4th attempt of the morning to climb the staircase. It’s amazing how quickly she can do it and how nimble she truly is especially since she is such a little chunk!
Yesterday, while both my husband and I were home together with the kids, Penelope (my 10 month old) scaled the stairs unbeknownst to us as we both thought the other one had her. We both hear her fussing and go to find her at the top of the stairs calling for us because she cannot get down. Thank goodness she sat there!
So, unfortunately, I think it’s time to get those darn baby gates up again. And I’m sure they are going to become a permanent part of our house again for another year or so. I guess, I should give in and go and find them. Oh, Mt. Everest, why are you so big and scary!!
