Well, here in Chicago (and it seems much of the country!) we have been having the most odd winter weather these days. Warmer temps than normal and rain instead of snow means we will definitely not be having a white Christmas this year. So to get us in the holiday mood and to capture the spirit of the holidays I thought it would be fun to change direction and have our holiday movie night with Frozen Hot Chocolate instead of our regular mugs of hot chocolate because, let’s face it, it’s just not cold enough for that right now!
This year International Delight is introducing Hot Chocolate into its line of holiday favorites which by the way comes in two great flavors: NEW! Milk Hot Chocolate and NEW! Dark Hot Chocolate found in the refrigerated section of your local grocery store. It makes a mug of hot chocolate easier than ever to make as you just have to pour, heat and drink! To make this super easy Frozen Hot Chocolate recipe you only need 3 ingredients thanks to this new hot chocolate. It makes creating a decadent frozen dessert so darn easy as it is ready in minutes!
- 1 1/2 cups International Delight NEW! Milk Hot Chocolate
- 3 cups ice
- whipped cream
Instructions
In a blender, blend together the hot chocolate drink mix with ice until thick and creamy.
Pour into a pretty glass and garnish with whipped cream!
International Delight New! Milk Hot Chocolate plus ice…blended until thick and creamy…ahhh-mazing!!! We love garnishing ours with whipped cream and mini chocolate chips but how fun would this be drizzled with chocolate sauce and grated chocolate! Or adding a bit of peppermint extract and crushed candy canes…yum!! The possibilities are endless on how you can enjoy your own Frozen Hot Chocolate!
