With Easter coming up right around the corner, I thought it would be fun to create a “Family Easter Basket” that would be something fun the whole family could enjoy over Easter weekend. It would also be such a cute gift idea for a friend’s family or your nieces and nephews in the coming weeks instead of gifting individual baskets 🙂 I found the latest Open Season movie, OPEN SEASON: SCARED SILLY on both DVD and Blu-ray in the store the other day and thought it would be fun to make a Family Movie Night Easter Basket and fill it with the movie, popcorn, and little treats for everyone!
I don’t know about your kids but mine love the first Open Season movie (FYI: It’s been 10 year’s since it’s release…how old are we now, gah!) so when I saw this one I thought it was a no brainer to add to our little gift basket. It will be a fun addition in our line up of movies for when we take long road trips. I found some cute Easter themed movie theater candy boxes in the Easter aisles and couldn’t help but pick up a few. I also added in some microwave popcorn because a movie just isn’t a movie without it!
And of course I placed it all in cute little paper bags…in pastel-y Easter colors to boot!
Then just add in some paper grass strands and some teeny little plastic easter eggs and voila, you have yourself a super easy to create Family Movie Night Easter Basket!
You can purchase OPEN SEASON: SCARED SILLY on Amazon and Walmart.com. The Blu-ray and DVD are “now in stores” and the perfect Easter gift!
ABOUT THE RELEASE:
In celebration of Open Season’s 10th Anniversary, Sony Pictures Animation presents an all-new animated movie, OPEN SEASON: SCARED SILLY, on Blu-ray™ Combo Pack and DVD.
Elliot, Boog and all your favorite woodland creatures are back in a brand new, comedy adventure, OPEN SEASON: SCARED SILLY. When a case of mistaken identity leads both humans and animals to believe there is a monstrous werewolf on the prowl in Timberline National Forest, former hunter Shaw seizes on the opportunity to re-open open season. With Shaw on the loose and all the animals at risk, it’s now up to Boog, Elliot, and Mr. Weenie to face their fears, track down the elusive werewolf, and get open season closed permanently.
The Blu-ray™ and DVD releases will be packed with bonus materials including all-new featurettes, bloopers, a director’s commentary track, and an Inside Sony Pictures Animation profile of director David Feiss.
