Are your littles back in school yet? Well mine are heading back in a less than 3 weeks!! Now that it’s August I have really started thinking about school starting up again. We have been scouting out school supplies and sizing feet up for new gym shoes. And I have been trying to figure out what our family will be doing for school lunches again…has it really been that long since I’ve made a real life bento lunch? One thing I’m feeling really good about are our after school snack options. One such recipe that has received eight thumbs up is this Fluffy Chocolate Fruit Dip…it’s the perfect way to get more fresh fruit into your little one’s belly which makes it a great nutritious snack for after school hours plus it travels well so packing this for a school lunch works beautifully too!
Since we are not huge cow milk drinkers in our house I decided to make this Fluffy Chocolate Fruit Dip using NEW Silk Chocolate Cashewmilk. If you have not tried this yet, you must. It is so good. Really really creamy and oh so chocolately…YUM! Our family has big love for all the Silk products because they are dairy-free, gluten-free, and enrolled in the Non-GMO Project and, like all their products, this new flavor does not disappoint, I never feel like I am sacrificing taste when I use Silk!
I hope you enjoy this recipe as much as my family does!
- 2 boxes (3.3 ounce) packages instant chocolate pudding mix
- 1 1/2 cup Silk Chocolate Cashewmilk
- 1 (16 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
- In a medium sized bowl, mix together the pudding mix and milk with a whisk.
- Slowly whip in the frozen whipped topping until well combined.
- Chill for 1 hour before serving.
We love this fruit dip with strawberries, bananas, kiwi, graham crackers, cubes of angel food cake, and so much more. The possibilities are endless! Visit the Silk Cashewmilk HERE where you can learn more about cashewmilk, get a coupon and find delicious cashewmilk recipes!
