Gift Idea: Halloween in a Box

| Filed Under: Fall, Gift Ideas, Halloween, Holiday, Tutorials

My littles and I decided we should send our sweet little cousins a box full of fun for Halloween because as we all know Halloween is one of the most magical holidays of the year for kids…full of candy and dress up and non-stop ringing doorbells and of course, more candy! We were excited that we found lots of fabulous goodies to package up and now our Halloween in a Box happy mail is on it’s way to a few lucky recipients!

Some of the fun we sent in the mail included…

  • Affy Tapples (are these not the best caramel apples ever!)
  • Caramel Apple Sugar Babies
  • Tic Tacs in Halloween colors
  • A tube of candy corn
  • Pumpkin Patch Pop Rock
  • Halloween-y lollipop
  • A couple dracula fangs
  • A pair of bubble eye balls

Are you sensing a theme here?
And of course I had to doll them up with some pretty packaging! Love me some themed gifts!

And you guys, did you know that October was National Caramel Month?! It totally is!!!!

Affy Tapple, a Chicagoland staple since the 1940’s, knows it!

This month they are hosting a really great contest where they are giving away One Party. Hundreds of Apples. Delivered by Affy Man himself to your office, school, or organization. All you have to do is enter on their Facebook page HERE and then tell all your co-workers to enter too so you can win this Affy Tapple party!! You definitely want to win!

Here is what Affy Man will supply:

o   10 cases of 12 peanut apples

o   5 cases of 12 plain (caramel) apples

o   5 cases of 12 Halloween apples

o   15 bags of Pretzel Bites

o   15 bags of Homemade Caramels

o   15 bags of Mini Sandwich Cookies

Total retail value: $517.30

*Official rules (included eligible counties, etc) found HERE.

And here are a few fun facts about Affy Tapple:

They still use the same small-batch caramel recipe developed in 1948. And Affy Tapple uses milk in its original caramel recipe, ensuring customers get the richest caramel on their Affy Tapples. While the Peanut Apples are the company’s most famous and popular treat, the company also makes apples coated in party-colored chocolate drops, three types of chocolate chips, and festive sprinkles for Halloween.

And just so you can see how awesomely awesome having Affy Man come to your office, school, etc would truly be, check out this totally sweet video

PS. Yours truly has a few appearances, can you find me?

Thanks for stopping by today…and Good Luck!!!!

Love,

Maggie
