For the last month or so my little girlies were begging for a girls night out, so over the weekend I decided it was high time we had ourselves another night on the town! I love begin able to spend time with the two of them together, doing girly things. We always go out to eat at a restaurant of their choosing, then we get dessert, and then we either go shopping (usually they pick Target, lol!) or we get our nails done or do some other fun bonding experience. I really truly look forward to these nights we can carve out to chat and laugh and learn a bit more about each other and at the same time my husband gets a nice chunk of time alone with our boys! Girls Night Out at Red Robin // SmashedPeasandCarrots.com

It just might have something to do with the free balloons they hand out to the kids, the bottomless sides they get with their meals, and quite possibly the all the fun appetizers they have, lol! It is a nice family restaurant with a fairly extensive menu with something for everyone…and with 4 children in our family, I know this to be true! Everyone can always find something they love on the menu! My girls love the Onion Ring appetizer and can you see why….it is huge, a literal tower of onion rings! They truly have so many options…and they are super affordable. Red’s Tavern Double Burger (which includes two classic sized fire-grilled patties topped with American cheese, Red’s Secret tavern Sauce, tomato, and lettuce) and Bottomless Steak Fries is just $6.99!! And it’s not just bottomless fries – you can also enjoy endless sweet potato fries, steamed broccoli, coleslaw, or side salads with your meal. Even the kid’s meals come with bottomless sides like mandarin oranges, apple slices, and side salads, along with a ton of other options!Girls Night Out at Red Robin // SmashedPeasandCarrots.com I love spicy burgers so I ordered the Fiery Ghost Tavern Double with Pepper-Jack cheese, fried and fresh jalapenos. It definitely lived up to its name…sooo good! And those fries are so good too! Nice and thick cut steak fries…my favorite! My girls ordered Mac n Cheese and Chicken Fingers with bottomless sides of mandarin oranges and apples. I love that they can get fruit with their meals!! This ice cream, Oreo cookie, caramel sauce, and whipped cream creation was crazy good!!! And worth it for the looks on my girls faces when our waitress brought it to our table! It was such a fun dinner out with my little ladies with so many good memories!! I love when we start off at dinner on such a good note, it makes the rest of the night so much fun!       I love Red Robin because they are one of the few restaurants that are careful enough about gluten that I can eat there without getting ill. Fries are cooked in a dedicated fryer and they’ll make the burger in either a lettuce wrap or gf bun for me. I perfect the lettuce wrap, but I’m not sure which burger is my favorite!

      I’ve never been there before but my parents just moved to a house with one a block away. It’d be fun to take them there!

      I usually check out their limited time burgers – they usually run one in October that is on a pretzel roll with spicy mustard – an Oktoberfest kind of thing………

      I usually go for the chicken sandwich and Red Robin, but my hubs loves the Royal Red Robin Burger with the fried egg on it. My kids love RR too!

      I usually get the bacon cheeseburger or a chicken sandwich. We have food allergies in two out of the five family members in our family but I love how everyone is able to find something great at RR.

      My favorite burger to order at Red Robin is the Red Robin Gourmet cheeseburger because it has so many yummy ingredients! I also recently tried the Garden burger and fell in love with the burger and sauce!!

      our family has only been like once & loved it! the reason why is we don’t eat out often maybe every other month if that & we like to pick different places to try. ( budget doesn’t allow any more often than that) this would be so fun to win so we could take our children back 🙂

      My favorite burger is the Bacon Cheeseburger. But usually I’ll order the BLTA Croissant. And I LOVE those fries! Definitely my favorite. Unless it’s really cold…. Then I do the Souper Sandwich Combo with the Clamdigger’s Clam Chowder. I think I just decided what’s for dinner tomorrow night!

      My wife usually chooses the Royal Red Robin (the one with the egg) and I go with D.G.B. Burger, I love the peppery flavor of arugula and the roasted tomatoes are awesome!

      I haven’t been to a Red Robin due to the distance to the nearest one, but the Guacamole Bacon Burger sounds good enough that I may have to make a special trip. Add in those wonderful looking onion rings and it looks like a winner.

      I’ve never been there but was excited to see that they offer two veggie burgers on their menu that you can substitute in any of their sandwiches! WOOT!
