Do you remember when I hosted a giveaway for the New Head & Shoulders Eucalyptus Itchy Scalp Care shampoo and conditioner last year?
Well, I’m here to tell you that if you liked that line you will love their newest line of hair care. This one has one great smelling ingredient…Green Apples!
I was asked to try out the new line of Head & Shoulders Green Apple shampoos and conditioners a while back, and can I just tell you me likey a lot!
First, I love fun, fresh-smelling shampoos so this one is right up my alley because the naturally inspired green apple scent is so yummy.
The scent is not fake-smelling, and it’s also not too strong yet it lasts throughout the day. And not that crazy overkill I’m-a-teenager-with-my-scented-Lip Smackers kind of scent but that nice and light ooh, my hair smells fresh and clean kind of scent that you notice randomly throughout the day. Just enough of a scent that you smile at how clean your hair smells.
Now if you are a momma like me, you just might not remember if you even washed your hair any given day so to be able to smell your hair throughout the day and smell something so delicious and light, well, that pretty much makes my day (and high five myself for remembering to get in a quick shower!)
Just like the last set of products I tried from Head & Shoulders, the green apple scented line also gives you virtually flake-free beautiful hair which you know I love with this dry, midwest winter weather we are having right now…only 3 more months of this *crossing my fingers!* I adore a shampoo and conditioner that make getting beautiful hair even easier, don’t you?!

    Some of my favorite scents are vanilla, citrus, and strawberry. I also fondly remember a coconut scented shampoo from when I was a kid – would love to find another one!

    “What scents make you feel beautiful and fresh?” I am a big fan of the scents that have just a hint of citrus. To me that scent always screams “clean”.

    I like pepperminty scents….I like to use castor oil and sunflower oil together and smooth it on my face for a nice finish!

    With my husband and I on different schedules date night has become a once a week affair where I come home from work, change into a new shirt and then we go get dinner so I don’t have to cook. Nothing fancy, in fact one our favorite places to go is a local burger dive… its just us getting out together away from the phones and having an hour or two of just us time.

    As for scents…my favorite shampoo has a balsam scent to it, but I am also drawn to sandalwood and vanilla as I love earthy scents. Florals tend to make me sick after wearing them for awhile since they tend to be too strong. I have used green apple shampoos before though and have enjoyed them… I will have to keep an eye out for these ones!

    I always go for the scent of lavendar/vanilla or apple. I heard the the scent of apple stimulates the brain and I need all the stimulation I can get! LOL – Karen

    Lemon is always so refreshing and cheery. I used to use a lotion by Aubrey Organics that had a truly heavenly Passionflower scent but they discontinued it. 🙁

    This reply might give away my age but I can remember using a perfume called green apple that actually came in a glass apple. I loved that stuff. I would really like to try this green apple shampoo and conditioner.
