Highlighter Valentine Card with Free Printable

This Highlighter Valentine Card with Free Printable is the perfect Valentine for school age kids! There is nothing better than a useful and cute gift idea!

I finished another Valentine, hooray! I am on a last minute Valentine craft roll this week, woohoo! (Just don’t look in my office studio, it’s a complete train wreck in there.) This Valentine printable card is for Penelope. She wanted to give her class highlighters which makes my job all the easier, all I had to do was come up with a cute saying that I could make into a Valentine. Gotta love a girl who knows what she wants!

I ended up finding a 24-pack of Sharpie Highlighters at Sam’s Club but if you don’t want all the color variety as you are stuck with what the pack gives you, you could always Amazon prime them. I found a 24-pack of yellow highlighters here for not too shabby of a price.

If you would like to print off just one or two of these printable valentine cards or if you just want to resize them, click on the image below and drag it to your desktop.

Otherswise, if you are in need of a classroom amount of valentine cards, I created a printable with four Valentines to one page. Just print them off in color on heavy card stock.

I like to use 65 lb bright white. And then I cute them using my paper cutter because I am just too lazy and impatient to use scissors plus it makes me feel like a cool teacher, oh yeah! You can find the printable set here: Highlighter Valentine Card with Free Printable To attach the highlighters to the card I just used some heart-themed washi tape that I have on hand. If you don’t a great place to check, especially for seasonal colors and prints, is the Target Dollar Spot…I just love that little space at Target!

You could also punch holes into the card and affix the highlighters with string or you could attach the highlighters with some glue dots, I love those things!And there you go! More Valentines all ready for the class party tomorrow!!!
