My March Madness…SNOW!

| Filed Under: Life with Kids

So, this week I have been a little slacker with my blog, sorry guys! But, really it was all for a good reason, we have had some ab fab beautiful weather and just had to live it up…ahhhh, Mclovin’ it! Oh man, let me tell you, it was gorgeous here in Illinois! Sunny days, blue skies, and temps in the 50’s and 60’s…pure heaven, seriously!
Me and the kidlets went to the park every day, sometimes twice! We had playdates at the park, we walked around the block what seems like hundreds of times and we went to the arboretum with these passes (again!) It was all I could do since I saw the weather report for this weekend and today we woke up to this:

This is March in Illinois…for realsies!

Seriously!!! I need to move to Hawaii.
Yup, I know, SNOW in March…at the end of March no less!!! I wish I had photoshop and knew how to doctor up pictures so this wouldn’t be true but it is, super big sad face 🙁
The temps are only supposed to be in the 30’s today…no fun!
So yeah, that is why I haven’t been on the bloggity blog all week. My Dad is in town right now too and we were planning on doing lots of fun outdoors-y things but now we have to re-think the big agenda….humm, what do do, what to do?
In other news, have you seen how many followers I have now? Amazing!!! Every time I see new followers it gets me all giddy inside…ok, and outside too…just ask my husband, he gets the update everyday! It’s so cool to know so many of you like to read what I write about…BIG smiles here!!! 🙂 Anyways, I have a super cool giveaway coming up soon just for you guys! And, let me just say you are so going to love it! Maybe in the next week I can get the post together for it!
Alright, well…Happy Weekend to you ! I guess some snow shovelin’ will be in my future for today…or I could just wait until the Hubs gets home from work this morning and have him do it…yeah, that sounds like a much better idea, hehe! I mean, a pregnant lady shouldn’t be shoveling snow, right? What would the neighbors think! Later!

Hi! It’s my first time here (visitor from How Does She…) and I just wanted to say I love your blog.

Sorry about the snow you’ve got though! We live in Central Missouri and it’s just rainy and bleh. Happy Spring, huh? 🙂

Snow here too! Yuck!!! Glad your blog has been such a success, it certainly is fun to read. I get excited about followers too, but I only have 15! Did you see the easy t-shirt dress I made the other day for 60 cents?!

I love those passes from the library. We went for the first time in December to see the holiday trains, though not with the library pass. We were shocked at the price to park. Do you still have to pay to park when you use the pass from the library?

Whats with this weather anyways? It has been so pretty the last fews days. This am was really nice, high 60’s now it is in the low 40’s. They are predicting 2 inches of snow in the morning….Back to the UnderArmor for my morning walks and runs…..When will it all end?

I know, I know…can the snow go!!!! PLEASE!! At least it looks as if we will be in the 50’s tomorrow…hooray!! Let’t hope it’s true, fingers crossing now 🙂

The library passes should get you in for free at any of the museum locations…at the arboretum that includes parking!!! FREE!!!

WAHOOOOOO!!! Have a great day 🙂

It was a crazy year for snow in our area too (but hopefully we’re over it). So I feel your pain! Glad you were able to front load some spring outings beforehand. And congrats on your amazing & growing following. No surprise though, your blog is fab :).
