Happy Halloween everyone!  Hope y’all finished up your costumes if you were hand-making them!!  Today Noah and Penelope both have parties at their school and then when school lets out we are headed out to Trick-or-Treat with our neighbors.  We are hosting a little Halloween get-together at our house tonight too, phew the day sounds so busy and it hasn’t even started 🙂

      My husband’s hero is Robin Hood, so until the kiddos are older enough to ask otherwise they have been wearing Lincoln Green every year. Even the baby girl is joining as Maid Marian this time!

      My kids are 4 and 1 but we aren’t doing anything for Halloween this year. My husband has been out of town for 5 weeks and will be gone at least 1 more and I just don’t have the energy to put forth to get the kids ready and take them out.

      This year we will have a Southern Belle, Indian Chief, Skeleton, and a Flamingo. I’m still have a few things left to sew but it’s going to have to wait until later in the afternoon…I have school parties to help out with!

      I don’t have any kids to dress up yet. But if I did, I would dress them up as a little monster. I found the cutest baby monster costume on pinterest and can’t wait to use it!

      I liked every single one. My kids are dressing up as we will go from youngest to oldest, almost three year old daughter is going to be a unicorn. My 8 year old son is going to be an alien, my 12 year old daughter is going to wear a black face mask. Then there is my 15 year old who has downs- so yes he still does dress up and he will probably be 50 different things before it is time to go. Good thing he has a bunch of dress up clothes. Last year right as we were leaving he changed his mind and we all had to wait….:)

      My son is dressed up as Thomas the Tank Engine. mostly because my sister found a costume for $10 and that was about what I was willing to spend!

      We aren’t dressing up for Halloween. Kids are grown and gone … we don’t even get trick-or-treaters at our house any more.

      I don’t have kids, but my 8wk. old niece is being a peacock.

      I won’t be dressing up this year either. But, if I was, I would be a sack of potatoes. I have the perfect scrap material to make my bag, and some tan balloons left-over from an event.

      My daughter is pregnant and made herself a shirt that says “let me out” with feet prints under the words. Turned out really cute!

      my 3 year old daughter is going to be a pirate also! although 2 days ago she said she wanted to be a “barina” so we may through a tutu over the top of her costume. our 6 month old son is going to be a stormtrooper. we had been gifted the costume when our daughter was born, but being an october baby, she was too small when halloween came that year and too big the next year! i am going to be a butterfly thanks to some awesome wings i found at joann’s!

      I don’t have kids of my own and my niece is a little small for trick or treating… but when I asked the kids in ym class last week they mostly wanted to be cats or ghosts. Not very creative really but halloween isn’t so big in the UK.

      We’ve got a zombie, a hippy, a cowboy and a cheerleader. This is the very first year that I didn’t have ANY say in their costumes. They’re growing up. Bittersweet.
