I am so excited to say that with 2 weeks of school left I have our teacher appreciations gifts ready to go…that never happens! So if you are still needing a gift idea for the teachers in your life may I suggest a Pizza and Movie Night gift box? From chatting with a few teachers we happen to know it seems as if it should be a hit! I originally saw this idea from my friend Jodi on Instagram (@jodiaddy) if you are Instagram you will want to follow her, she has the most amazing ideas for children’s activities…and her handwriting is out of this world awesome! If you want you can also follow me too, you can find me here, @smashedpeasandcarrots.To make this gift I went to our favorite pizza joint and bought a few gift cards for our teachers making sure they would be able to be to order at least a large pizza with a few toppings of their choice. One of our teacher’s has a little girl that has just been diagnosed with Celiac disease and this pizza place makes gluten-free pizza too (which is why we love them!) When I was paying I took a few menus for the teachers and asked for a few small pizza boxes too. They wondered why I wanted them and when I told them the reason they thought it was a great idea for presenting the gift cards…so don’t feel weird about asking! Then I used some cute paper bags I have in my stash and wrapped up the gift card, some microwave popcorn, and various movie theater-sized boxed candies to add to the pizza box. I included lots of Thank You pennants and tags in our gift as well as my littles each wrote a note thanking their teachers for helping them learn so much this year. My oh my has their handwriting changed so much over the school year! Then I placed everything neatly into the pizza box and tucked the lid shut, ready to give on the last day of school! I hope this inspires you to make a fun end of school year gift for your teachers!
Thanks for stopping by today!
Love,
Maggie
