    I’m currently working on a quilt called Vintage Tin for my momma. I’m personalizing it by making the center car blue like her old blue car. She met my daddy at a gas station where he pumped her gas, and so I’m re-naming the gas station after my dad and stitching that in blue as well. The rest of the quilt is in black and white based on Route 66. I think she will get the idea (I hope).

    Curetly trying to finish up my scrappy trip along quilt. But yesterday decided to clean up and organize some in the sewing room. So will probably do that for today and tomorrow and get back to stitching on that quilt binding soon.     I love that picture of the Ruby by Bonnie and Camille, I don’t know what it is about turquoise and red, but I love that combination! Right now I’m working on pillows! Zippered, covered zipper, envelope styles, with hand stitching, EPP, and appliqued!

    I just finished a set of ten pieced place mats (sort of a dresden plate effect) using a variety of Christmas fabric scraps. Next sewing project will probably be some mug rugs and felt food.

    I just finished a baby car seat cover for a dear friend’s baby girl. It was my very first quilt and I am in love with the fabrics and the process of quilt making even though my skills are limited (but developing 🙂 I am addicted to this new hobby, and looking for another designer fabric to make the same quilt again, for another soon to be born baby!

    I’ve got a bunch of new fabric that I’m trying to decide what to do with…I might try my hand at a quilt! Not sure yet. I also just made some play shorts for my daughter a few days ago- to go under her skirts.

    Um… what am I NOT working on?!? The most imminent project is a mobile and wall decor for our newborn twins’ nursery. After that I need to finish a beanbag chair for our daughter’s “big girl room” along with pillows for her bed.

    just finished sewing some straps on a dress for a wedding and then I made a flour mat from duck clothe. (allows you to roll dough out on the flour mat and then you don’t get your counter all messy.)

    Oh my! I’ve never seen that last fabric line. Love it! I am currently working on finishing three quilts for my three girlies. PLUS a quilt for my sweet niece and baby bedding (or soon to LOL) for my sweet friend who is on bed rest. =) Whew! Love it!

    Let’s see…I have one pillow that needs the binding hand sewn, then it’s finished. Another pillow needs the boarders sewn to the front (about half way finished), and a table runner I just started last week. That’s just what’s on my sewing table, does not count the WIP’s in my baskets. Thanks for the give away!

    Currently working on a Goodwill shirt quilt, blocks done, sewing together today. Cutting the fabric for a disappearing nine patch today along with deciding on an arrangement for a tshirt quilt for my niece. Always working on more than one thing at a time.

    I’ve got burpcloths for a friend’s new baby boy! plus we are getting new carpet so there was painting and patching to be done (not nearly as fun as sewing). Plus I’ve given up on finding a throw rug I like for the back door so I’ll be DIYing a canvas one from a pinterest tutorial.

    I am currently working on my very first two quilts! I have two daughters and wanted them both to receive the first one. I am doing a monthly mystery quilt so two blocks each month should not be that hard. Wish me luck!!!

    I am a newbie sewer and find it really hard for me but i am not giving up….I am currently starting today a car seat cover….binkie holders and a nursing cover as well as some pee pee tee pee covers…..lol..gonna be a week long of frustration but i am determined to learn!!!!!

    sooo…. I have my first ever child’s dress form and I’m busily making a wardrobe for it.

    having a creepy naked headless 6 month old standing on your sewing table is… well… creepy. LOL hoping clothes make Miss Emma a little less creepy

    My current project is a quilt for my Mum. She thinks it’s for someone else, as I’ve been tellig her that. She loves the fabrics – Moda’s Paris Flea Market – and keeps tellin me how much she would like have this quilt, so I know she’ll be over the moon when she receives it! All the while that I’m working on her quilt, I have several others in the planning stage in my head.

    I feel like I should confess how bad my fabric addiction is, but I’ll spare you! I’m working on two faux chenille blankets and an owl taggie for my etsy shop! For my own family… I have two dresses cut, a bag (for me-desperately needed!), a hanging towel for my m-i-l, recovering a window seat seat for my sis n law, and tonight my daughters shared that she needs a super hero cape… AND its all on my dining room table!!!     Beautiful fabrics! Currently I am working on hemming some jeans that I got a great deal on at a second hand store. I’ve also been making capes, and basket liners, and various things for my kiddos. I’m already planning out my annual home-sewn gift for all 6 of our nieces and nephews, my 3 “Finnish nieces” (my best pen/friends daughters), a couple former daycare children, plus my own 2 kiddos 🙂

    I’m quilting a quilt for my Motherinlaw who got me into quilting. It has dachshund blocks on it b/c she’s got one named Fred. I’m loving the whole process and grateful to her for her patience in answering all my questions. I can’t wait to finish so I can surprise her with it!
