I recently saw a tutorial on using a jelly roll to do a ruffle pillow. It had an ombre look and was beautiful. As usual, I forgot to “Pin it” and can’t find that tutorial right now. Anyway, that’s what I want to try with the jelly roll-a ruffle pillow!

I graduated from college recently, and my mother-in-law gave me a sewing machine as a gift. I’ve been having so much fun with it! I first came across your blog because I was looking for a fun dress or skirt pattern, and I found your lovely empire-waist dress pattern! It has been a blast looking through your projects – it inspires me to do fun, creative things here!
Anyway, long story short, I have been making squares of leftover fabrics and old t-shirts so I can make my very first quilt. (Maybe as a Christmas present for my husband??) Pre-cut squares of such colorful fabric would be so much fun to incorporate into that quilt.
Regardless, thanks for the fun posts and creative ideas! 🙂
