Swim Lessons

| Filed Under: Life with Kids

The boys practicing some swim moves

At the end of class they turn on the water fountains

Who needs a life preserver?

All smiles before class starts

Enjoying the swim lesson with Daddy

My littles have swimming lessons on Fridays this summer. Noah has gone through two summers of swim lessons and is now enrolled in the class where we, his parents, are supposed to transition out of the water by his third class. Today is the third class, but I’m still not sure he is going to be up for that. He really likes to swim with one of us near him and gets so shy when the teacher asks him to do anything. The next class he is supposed to go at it alone…hum, we’ll see how it goes! As for Penelope, these are her first swimming lessons ever. She loves the water, just like her big brother! Noah’s class is first and as she waits on the sidelines with one of us she is always trying to somehow squirm away and get into the pool. Today she went underwater…and with NO CRYING! That’s my girl! I really hope my kids have a love for the water and learn to swim well. Not like their momma who hates to get water in her eyes and ears! Here’s hoping their excitment for being in the water is lifelong!
