The One Where I Talk About Halloween

| Filed Under: Adventures with Kids, Halloween

I think it’s safe to say there is no candy shortage around our house right now.  Halloween was a complete success.  And like clockwork they were up this morning asking for candy for breakfast.  We also realized last night that three kids also means 3x the candy…for us, hahaha!
Noah and Penelope made these guys at Dad’s Night at their preschool last week.  You can tell which one is Penny’s by all the accessories 🙂  Are those ponytail holders on the stem?
Yesterday at preschool they had a costume parade that was really, truly cute.  How lucky I am to be able to go and watch these fun little memories.  Then all the kids handed out treats to their classmates.  We disguised lollipops as ghosts…boo!

Can you tell my children were excited to Trick-or-Treat?  Faces pressed against the glass door as we waited for our friends to walk the neighborhood.

We had to laugh at our little Princess Peach.  She carried her pumpkin around like it was a purse.  Such a girly-girl!  I love how her dress made her look like she was floating across the sidewalks.

Noah had to carry along the little Halloween gift his ‘girlfriend’ made for him at school.  I think he is smitten.

By the third house Mario was dying of thirst, really?  Are anyone else’s kids like that?  At least she wasn’t needing the potty I guess.

All in all, it was a great day and an even better evening walking the neighborhood with good friends and enjoying all the cute costumes.  I really wish I had a picture with all the kids in our group but there was always somebody to chase…maybe next year!  I hope you all had a Happy Halloween too!
XOXO,

My son is always “so thirsty” or “so hungry.” My son was Mario this year too and hubs was Luigi. Those costumes were so popular this year, we saw several others while trick or treating.

I love the costumes! So cute. I’m still recovering from Halloween night … sneaking candy from their bags isn’t helping either!

Yes, three kids means three times the candies. So, I only put on the fridge what they can eat for the day and keep the rest from their sight while my husband and I eat some of them… The lollipop ghosts were cute! I think I know what to do next year.
