Have you seen the new Shape Tape in stores yet? It is so cool! It’s their first treated edge treated painter’s tape with pre-cut patterns like Chevron, Wave, and Scallop designs. The Shape Tape™ is treated with patented PaintBlock® Technology which is a super absorbment polymer that reacts with the water in latex paint and instantly gels to form a micro-barrier that seals the edges of the tape and helps prevent paint bleed.
All you need to make this project are a few simple items, including this awsome Shape Tape™!
Easy Frosted Glass Chevron Pattern
FrogTape® Shape Tape™ in the Chevron pattern
Recycled glass jars (ex. baby food jars, pickle jars, smooth-walled canning jars)
Frosted spray paint
First, place your Shape Tape™ around your glass jar to see how much you’ll need. Depending on where the design ends based off of the diameter of your glass jar, you may need to cut off a bit of extra tape to line up the pattern best. The Shape Tape™ is designed with a slit liner on the back to make application a breeze, gotta love that! Just pull half the liner off, line it up and the pull the other half off and press into place.
Then take your taped glass jars outside in a well-ventilated area and give them a few coats with your frosted spray paint. Let dry for a couple of hours and then you can take off your tape!
Ta Da! Cute Chevron Patterned Frosted Glass Jars!
Like I said before, I am using them as votive candle holders, but you could also use them as pencil holders (think Teacher gifts!), a planter for a cute little succulent, or cute organizational jars for all your itty bitty stuff!

These are awesome! I love the chevron thing as much as the next gal but I love how this is a little bit more subtle.

I stumbled over your site on Pintrest this morning, and I had to say Halleluiah! Your blog has awesome and “classy” ideas that are easy-peasy! Some projects you see online that are “easy” end up looking quite “tacky” as well. Not so on your blog! I will gladly continue to subscribe to it, and can’t wait to get further in to your projects. Thanks for putting all your great ideas out there for all of us crafters to use! I love it!

Thank you for the kind words and sweet comment, Lisa! I am so glad you found your way here and I hope you enjoy what’s to come as well!! So nice to “meet” you!
