Two Little Ladies…

| Filed Under: Life with Kids, Milestones

So, today is a big day at our house! We have two milestones on the menu concerning these two little ladies:

Our little Penelope turned TWO today…yup, I am seriously being serious here. Please, say it ain’t so, she’s growing up so fast!
And, our littlest Eloise is, wait for it…1 month old today too!! (Yeah, channeling a little Barney Stinson for y’all!)
Put on the brakes please cause this momma can’t take all these milestones…make ’em stop growing up, stat!

Eloise is getting bigger, I can feel it…she’s longer, she’s heavier and egads, she’s awake and alert so much more! She’s filling out, definitely not the chicken-legged babe that we brought home a month ago. She’s starting to smile at us, real smiles not those gassy smiles that newbies are so good at doing. Growing, growing, growing like a weed, I wish she’d stay this little forever…LOVE her!
And Penelope? Well, she is just a little girl now. Full of attitude and tantrums…it’s good times. She is a little momma, playing with her dollies, swaddling them and changing their little cloth diapers. She loves a good purse and enjoys changing her clothing numerous times a day. It’s been so fun to watch her become the girl she is today…LOVE her!

One of Penelope’s most favorite Birthday traditions in our home (no matter who’s birthday it is)…Balloons!
Yup, we love to buy lots of helium-filled fun for the kids (or us) when a birthday rolls around!
Don’t colorful balloons just add a little something fun to any birthday?
I like to think so 🙂

Penny decided it was time to take her balloons for a run 🙂
And what’s better than running wild with a bunch of colorful balloons?…

Uhhh, how about a group Balloon Hug…and on your Birthday no less!?!
Rock on!
Hope you’re having a Happy, Sun-filled Day too!

AW! Happy Birthday to Penelope! Isn’t it funny how little girls get that attitude? It’s like one minute, they’re precious little angels, the next they’re tell ya’ how it’s going to be done! PHew! Perhaps this phase will prepare us for the teenage years? Hope so!

And Eloise?? I can’t believe she’s already a month old! I wish we could make them stop growing so fast! I miss the sweet little baby stage!!
