So two things real quick I just wanted to share…
First, today we had a fun little visit from the UPS man! My momma sent a box full of treats and other goodies to us…yay! I love getting packages in the mail!! I love my momma 🙂 She always sends us goods in the mail just because…so sweet!
This one was filled with all things Valentine’s. Yes, a little late but there was a good reason for this. You see, my parents live out on the east coast and if you haven’t heard (cause maybe you’ve been living under a rock or been in a coma for some time) they have been getting ambushed with snow these days, uh, make that this winter. Last week they got a whole 25 inches of that messy white stuff and then a few days later another 10 inches!!! That’s over 3 feet of snow this year alone!!!! Crazy for a region of the U.S. that usually maybe gets a few inches a winter!!! So, my parents were snowed in for over a week! Schools were completely canceled and roads unplowed. There was no trip to the post office for them insight! My momma actually just went back to work this week after a week off!!!
Anyways, I just wanted to show you some pictures of the kidlets all excited and happy to be opening a box of goodies…and then eating those said goodies…an hour before dinner…yeah, I’m a cool mom like that…or a crazy mom…you decide!
Ripping open the box…ooh, what did we find!?!
Lots of marshmallow goodies…‘Thank you Grandma Joyce!”
Here is a snap of my momma when she came this past New Year’s to hang with the kids and take care of one very pukey me!

And secondly, (and this is mainly for you guys who live in Illinois) The Shedd Aquarium is having a free admission week this week (Feb 15-19) as well as a free admission Monday and Tuesday this coming Feb 22 and 23, 2010…for realsies! So if you live in Chi-town, the ‘burbs or are planning a trip here this coming weekend you may want to head over there. General admission for adults pushes $25 and children are $18…seriously insane prices, I know! This is the time to head over there if you can. Know that this only includes general admission and not the Fantasea Aquatic Show or other special exhibits but still, what a deal!!!

What a great deal, I wish our aquarium would have those kinds of weeks. 2 adults + 5 kids = a very expensive trip to the aquarium!

I don’t know if we’ll ever get off our sugar high…looks like I need to get on a secret stealth mission to hide all the goods soon!
