Valentine Bento Snack Box

| Filed Under: Bento, Bento Lunch, Recipes, Tutorials, Valentine's Day

I just love Valentine’s Day, oh I do…day filled with love and happiness…it’s right up my alley! And guess what? It’s coming in just a few weeks! Well, since I love it so much we are already getting ready for it over here, pink and red all the things!!!! I’ve already started making cute-sy after school snacks for the littles using my heart-shaped cookie cutter whenever appropriate, which the answer is ALWAYS, hehe! And this weekend I made them fun little bento snacks using empty heart-shaped chocolate boxes!

I kept the plastic liner that came with the chocolates and just rinsed it clean (it has perfect bento container sections!) and filled it with some healthy snacks for the little ones…grapes, baby carrots, and sliced string cheese. The kids loved this idea and asked for one every day after school. Well, if you twist my arm, haha! I am so excited to make more and more!Hope you have fun making a few yourself!!

Thanks for stopping by today!
Love,

Maggie
