I thought I’d share what I put in ours in case you needed a bit of “Homework Station” inspiration. Up top I have a simple pencil box full of colored pencils, next to it scotch tape, a white-out pen thing-a-ma-bob, and a pencil sharpener. I also have little jars with kid scissors, crayons, pencils, gluesticks and erasers…you can never have too many erasers, am I right?
In the middle shelf I keep a big jar filled with fat markers, a small glass jar filled with fine tip markers, a mason jar of thick paint brushes, tempura paint, and a box of craft sticks.
The bottom shelf is for extra notebooks, folders, and paper. I keep a few of these fun plastic paper protectors I found in the Target Dollar Spot. You just slip a piece of paper into them and write on them with erasable markers…perfect for practicing spelling and writing and math!

Love it! I look at that cart every time I go to Ikea! One of these days I’ll grab it while I’m there.

Oh, I was the same way for so long! I finally bit the bullet not too long ago and am so glad I did!

I love Ikea too. Thanks for inspiring me to get my stuff a bit more organized. How do you manage with 4 kids under 5. I am a child with a mom who had 4 kids under age 5 I still don’t know how she did it. You are a super mom!
Maggie says
Ha! Not sure I am super mom…I just try to do my best as best I can! My mom was the same…I have 3 siblings all close in age too, I think they had it so much harder though…we didn’t have ipads, iphones, leap pads, and nearly as much tv/cartoons then as we do now!

I love it, I am so going to do this!

Hooray! I wish I would’ve done this last year…it makes our homework time so much more streamlined and less stressed!

LOVE this! Found you through Pinterest, and I’ve been needing some kind of art/homework supply solution. This is perfect.
