Soooo, you all know we are in the thick of potty training Noah, right!? If not, see this post here. Well, I have to tell ya it’s going mighty fine…we are coming up on the week mark this Thursday and to date we have had no puddles…ANYWHERE!!! Yep, that’s right…a dry bed every morning, trips to the store with no wet pants and so far no urine-soaked carpet, can I get a WaHoo for that one!!! He actually went to the bathroom twice this morning and did a number one and two all by his lonesome, only to call ‘Mommmm, I pee’d (or poo’d) when he was ready to get off!! Now, that’s my boy, I knew he had more of my genes in him than my hubby’s;)
- 1/2 box of thin spaghetti (I love the Barilla Plus cause of all the extras it has in it’s ingredients!)
- 1/2 cup of the pasta water (saved after you cook your pasta)
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese (or we like to use asiago, feta, or the like)
- salt and pepper (to taste)
- Make your spaghetti as you normally would…boil water, drop spaghetti in ;)…and drain but DO NOT rinse.
- Save 1/2 cup of the pasta water and set aside.
- Put your spaghetti back into the warmed saucepan you cooked it in and add the parma cheese and a 1/2 of the pasta water…add more if necessary to melt the cheese.
- Mix well.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
- It should be a most delicious healthier version of fettucine (or in this case spaghetti) alfredo!

Honestly – I just wheel the shopping cart in there with me. If they want to deal with my two kids & try to interrogate me about shoplifting, more power to them. I’d rather just get in and out of the bathroom without all the drama!! 🙂 So I break the rules. (Luckily it’s not ever that crowded & my son never poops in public toilets.) And yeah, I hate the garbage cans on the walls too!

I’m in agreement with taking the cart into the stall – though I usually dump its contents outside the bathroom (it’s always there when I come out, and stores don’t usually complain about taking an empty cart into the bathroom). Also, I usually hold the little one over the seat, to avoid them touching it. Public bathrooms are horrible!

They have little seat covers (ashley has a dora one) that we use so they can sit comfortably on the toliet- cause their booties arent big enough to do it comfortably. If your dipper bag is big enough (ours is) just shove it in- it seems to be easy and comforting for the kids.

This literally just saved me! I am pregnant and have a 17 month old. I have been so sick that everything makes me queasy. Made this for my kid, and wouldn’t you know it, I can eat it without feeling sick! Might be having his everyday for the next few weeks 🙂 thanks!
