I was asked to prepare a couple of lunchbox ideas…want to see them?!
If you have visited my blog at all in the past, you know I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Bento lunches (see my Bento accessories post here) So my ideas for preparing lunches for my kids and yours are using the bento lunch idea of small portions of many different foods in fun containers. You don’t have to have a bento lunch container to make these either, if you see my post here you can get ideas of lots of other container on the market that get the job done!
My kids love dipping the bunnies in the yogurt!
I also included some raisins in a silicone mini cupcake liner to separate them from some smoked almonds. This is a great sweet/salty taste match-up.
I packed it all up in a Tiered Bento Lunch Container and stored a flat spoon under the lid at the top.
For another lunch idea I used a small bento lunch container with a snap on lid.
PS. I love to buy my Bento goodies here.
Even though this is a smaller container you can still fit a nice amount of food in it for a younger child or this could be a snack for an older child too!
This lunch included what I like to call Pizza Picks which are small pepperoni minis between slices of Organic Valley Stringles mozzarella string cheese all lined up on a cute bento pick.
This lunch also included a silicon cupcake liner filled with Annie’s Bunny Grahams…
And fresh blueberries on fun bento picks!

How does the yoghurt not spill out all over the place??? My kids school books would be splattterd by 9am!

If you look closely at the picture you will see that there is a plastic separator in the bottom of that container that separates the yogurt from the rest of the food, the separator is movable as well. So by using the separator as well as the lid does not lay flat but sits slightly inside the container equal a no mess yogurt! You can always check out my other Bento posts to see how these containers make lunches no fuss!
