St. Patrick’s Day: Lucky Lunch

| Filed Under: Back to School, Bento, Bento Lunch, Holiday, Recipes, St. Patrick's Day, Tutorials

Yesterday we said good-bye to three of our most favorite people who we traveled 3 states just to visit us. The kids were so sad after they left and the house seemed so quiet after the jam-packed, fun-filled long weekend we had that I decided it would be fun to make the kids a fun St. Patrick’s themed lunch because, why not? What cheers little ones up more than your not-so-average lunch! We called it our “Lucky Lunch” and I added some fun green goodies to make it extra special.

I made it sort of a breakfast-y lunch and we ate Lucky Charms cereal…is there a more Lucky thing to eat?

We had our favorite vanilla yogurt in tiny green cups with teeny green sprinkles of course!
And I skewered green grapes onto Shamrock topped toothpicks because is there not a luckier way to eat them? We had some Silk Almond Milk (our favorite too!) which I wrapped in green card stock and called our “Lucky Milk!”and I even included a green swirly Shamrock straw because, FUN!!!! Plus, those pop up straws always seem to get lost inside the container!

Such a fun and happy green lunch! Maybe I should try to do this with every color in the rainbow. How fun would that be?!

Thanks for stopping by today!
Love,

Maggie
