Very Cool. And Thank You Very Much.

Hey all, I’ve got some great news to share with you!  Smashed Peas and Carrots was chosen as one of Babble.com’s Top 50 Craft Mom Blogs of 2011…holy freakin’ cool!

I was floored to get the email from the Babble editors and then when I saw the list of blogs who made the Top 50…well, holy WOW!!  I couldn’t believe I was ranked next to such awesome women and their amazing blogs.  Click HERE to see all the other bloggers given this honor!
Smashed Peas and Carrots was voted #5 in the Best For Moms category!!
I really want to say a huge thank you to all of you, since someone out there nominated my blog AND then a bunch more of you had to actually vote for me 🙂  WOW…really WOW…that is super cool with a cherry on top!

And in other news, today is St. Patrick’s Day.  Hope you have your green on!
I’ve got my corned beef cooking away in my crockpot (of course!)
And then the kids and I will be making my Rice Krispie Treat Shamrock from last year when Noah gets home from preschool today, yay fun!
You can find the how-to HERE in the ‘ol recipe archives.
Happy St. Paddy’s Day!

XOXO,

Congrats! And can I come over for some corned beef? I’ll bring the cabbage! I’m the only one in my family who likes it which means I never fix it.
