High Protein Cinnamon Sugar Bites

Leave a Comment | Filed Under: Noah & Oliver

Soft on the inside, coated in cinnamon sugar, and gluten free. Four ingredients for the dough, no yeast, no proofing. Roll it, cut it, air fry it, coat it. That’s the whole process.

The dough is just gluten free flour, Greek yogurt, baking powder, and salt. Mix it, knead it, roll it into logs, cut into bite size pieces, then a quick trip through the air fryer before getting coated in cinnamon sugar.

Recipe type: Snack

Prep time: 15 mins

Cook time: 8-10 mins

Total time: about 25 mins

Serves: about 14 bites

Ingredients

  • 1 cup gluten free flour
  • 3/4 cup non fat Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • Melted butter, for brushing
  • Cinnamon and sugar, to taste
  • Avocado oil spray

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the flour, Greek yogurt, baking powder, and salt together.
  2. Knead the dough.
  3. Roll into 3 log shapes.
  4. Cut each log into bite size pieces.
  5. Brush with melted butter.
  6. Air fry at 350 for 8-10 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Take out and sprinkle cinnamon and sugar on top to taste.
  8. Spray with avocado oil and give it one last shake.

We love these because they’re gluten free and high in protein, so it’s a snack that actually works for everyone.

Note: let it air fry for an extra minute or two if you want a crispier snack.

Thanks for stopping by! If you make these – tag us. We’d love to see them.
