Hi everyone!
You’ve probably noticed things have been a little quiet here lately, like years of quiet, lol! Between raising my four sweet babies who are almost all grown up now (high schoolers and college age, say what?!), running them around to their practices and meets (they are all swimmers, with two swimming in college!), and everything else that comes with running a busy household, my time for this space has understandably taken a back seat over the past few years. It hasn’t been for lack of love for this blog. Life has just been full.
The good news is, my two sons, Noah and Oliver, have become really interested in being in the kitchen and creating recipes to fuel their bodies for all their workouts. They can definitely hold their own in the kitchen these days and they’ve asked to help bring some new life back into this little corner of the internet. I couldn’t be more excited to have them jump in and share their recipes with you all!
So without further ado, here’s a note from my boys, Noah and Oliver:
Hey everyone, it’s Noah and Oliver!
Some of you may remember seeing us on this blog years ago — much younger, and definitely not the ones doing any of the cooking.

A lot has changed since then.

I’m Noah and I’m heading into my sophomore year of college where I’m studying and swimming on the men’s swim team. I’m Oliver and I’m starting my freshman year of high school and swimming for both my club team and my high school team. Between the two of us, it’s been many years of early morning practices, doubles practices, long weekends of swim meets, and a lot of meals prepared and eaten to keep us fueled up for all of it. As we’ve gotten older, we have become more and more interested and invested in learning about our health and preparing quality food to keep us going… lap after lap.
It’ll just be the two of us posting some of our favorite recipes here on the blog. These are a lot of the meals and treats we genuinely enjoy eating, some of which happen to be higher in protein or gluten-free, but these aren’t meant to be strict dietary recipes. We want to include recipes of our own, along with a few of Mom’s classics that we’ve put our own spin on. The idea we have is simply to share some of the recipes we like to make – in hopes that you will enjoy them as much as we do!
Thank you for reading, and we look forward to sharing more.
